I received a phone today that I bought on ebay. It's the ZTE F102. The problem is, I can't get it to switch on or charge up. The only thing I can get it to do is light up and show the 3 logo for a few seconds when I plug it in, but then it disappears. I've contacted the seller, and they've offered to send me a new battery. Do you think a new battery is likely to solve the issue? Because I need a working phone ASAP, so I don't know whether it's better to wait for a new battery and see if that works, or just try and get a refund and buy another phone.

    Dump it - return it.

It could be battery but it could be the phone - who knows, why put yourself through the pain.

£19.99 from argos brand new on Three.

Thanks. I might do that. Only problem is, you need to buy £10 top up with the phone at argos, and I'm buying it to put a pay monthly sim card in.

OK, now when I plug the phone in, it lights up and shows the 3 logo for a few seconds, then goes off, then repeats this 3 or 4 times, but still doesn't switch on. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Did you charge it up fully before using?

I can't get it to charge - that's the problem.

Try it on charge overnight without switching it on and see what happens.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
