This post explains your rights, and what to do in your situation.

I've seen other peope get refunds from Barclaycard. A few CC companies have tried this delaying tactic (get in touch with E7 first). Get back in touch with them. Explain they are equally liable under section 75 refunds, and tell them you will report them to the Financial Ombudsman if they don't deal with your claim properly (and within the law).

I'm getting delaying tactics from Cahoot I think. I requested informaion on how to claim 3 times through their online banking (actually finding a phone number was hard enough!). Rang them today, they say I have to write to them. They also mentioned a time limit. As far as I am aware there is no time limit on claims made under CCA section 75. Can somebody confirm that for me. If it is normal practice to simply write to them, what do I send. I have the original invoice which luckily I printed off before they mysteriously disappeard. I also have about 30 emails and replies dating right through from just 5 days after activation of E7 broadband to that fateful day when they ceased to exist. As I never received fully operational broadband... always had speed and connection problems... I intend to claim back the full amount. Is that acceptable. Thanks for any help people can give again.
