12 months up on Singlepoint... but they don't want to keep me?

I have been with singlepoint for about 3 years.
Originally ended up with them via a sim only deal (had an old phone from work)
After 12 months the deal expired and I've been paying 20 quid a month for about a quid's worth of calls! I know - I shoulda acted sooner.
Anyway, I'm going to move.
I see the most success comes from writing to these guys but there is no address on their bills. Can anyone supply me with one so I can write and ask for my PAC.
thanks

I've found the address on their website so not to worry. cheers0 -
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but Vodafone are taking over Singlepoint shortly.
My brother has his phone from them and was told by Vodafone yesterday about this. The Vodafone representative also mentioned that they were restricting what Singlepoint could offer Vodafone wise until the takeover is complete.
This would explain why they couldn't give a toss.Vedra Nativa0 -
Interesting about Vodafone taking over singlepoint. Do you know when this is happening?
Just an update on my situation. I tried to see if they would give me a better offer, but they only went as far as 8 months half price line rental with NO phone. Not really good enough not want me to stay, when there are loads of better deals around. I've requested my PAC on Tuesday afternoon (5 days before my contract ends) and am still waiting for it, so hopefully should receive it soon. Looks like my contract will start its 13th month, but I hope I am right in thinking that I will only charged for the DAYS of the 13th month I remain with them. As I am on the lowest tarriff this shouldn't be too much.
I was advised that if I move to another network I will be charged £20 for the PAC. However I plan to port to Vodafone PAYG first, and then I'll port it to my existing Orange contract, which will bypass the £20 fee.0 -

I don't mate.
The rest is roughly what happened with my brother ending up with him cancelling his contract which ends on 2nd March. Low & behold, 24hrs later a rep from Vodafone is on to him offering him the deal he wanted from Singlepoint.Vedra Nativa0 -
Just to update what happened when I tried to leave. I requested my PAC on Tuesday (15th) and was told it was going to be posted to me. Fair enough, but I waited and waited. In this time I'd started my 13th month, and after a week passed I rang them up again (22nd), no apology, and just gave me the PAC over the phone! Why didn't they just do that in the first place?? Just to get me to pay a few more £s??
Then today I got a letter in the post saying they couldn't give me my PAC code yet (I presume this was from the 15th). I was told on the phone it was posted out to me, but they lied! I can't believe they would do that just to get me to pay a few pounds to stay with them. I'm am totally disatisfied with the CS and think I will write a letter of complaint (although I'm sure they will just chuck it away).
I phoned up Vodafone to be connected to PAYT, and this takes a further 7 days, so I'll be paying for 15 days of the 13th month. Hopefully I'll be able to get a PAC of them a bit more quickly, so I can finally take my number to my Orange contract.0 -
Ok, well an update from me too. I wrote a letter giving 6 weeks notice that I want out at the end of my contract, and would like the PAC code, but said I wanted it for free.
Got a call of them and they tried to sell me another phone and new contract, which I was totally expecting, and was still in 2 minds about taking a new contract out, but I was willing to end it if they didnt offer me a good deal. I would have just went elsewhere and got a deal if I decided to get a contract again, so I just strung them along saying nah I want to leave. So she said pick a phone and I'll see what I can do.. if you were to stay
So I said, OK, the 7610 (had the 6230 before) so she said right you can have that for free, £12.99 a month but I can do 6 months at half price, 100 texts and 200 x-net mins, which I think was a combo of different price plans, so thats £7.50 a month and free phone. Plus, I ended my old contract 2 months early so saved money there as well.
Just sold my 6230 to a mate for £120 that I got free from sinlepoint last year, so I cant really see that I would save anything by going PAYG. She kept telling me how bas PAYG was and that I wouldnt get a signal, the calls costed loads, and stuff, so I just left her to give her speech and acted dumb.
Seems to depend how you play them as well, and in my experience letters get far better results than phone calls.
