well i had the confirmation page come up when i ordered and have printed that off, but still waiting on an email - i think i have missed out! shame as i was heading to b&q this weekend for a bbq!

edit: just got that email - spoke too soon but it says :
This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance by us. Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it, order acceptance and the creation of the contract between you and us will take place at the point the goods you have ordered are despatched from our warehouse to be delivered to the address you have given us.

This is one of those that the OP really should have kept to themselves to have stood a chance of getting. By going public Debenhams will be flooded with orders and they'll just cancel the lot so nobody will get 1. OP may well have got lucky if there were just a couple of orders gone unnoticed.

Also, people like "1-0tothearsenal" don't help by coming on here boasting about placing multiple orders - these sort of tactics and abuse always lessen the odds of a deal getting honoured:mad:

This is the standard Debenhams order confirmation email - the same one they issue for all orders

I wouldn't clear a space for the new BBQ as Debenhams do not honour like Tesco's have in the past.
I would say a good 80% of my orders with sale items at Debenhams have been cancelled.

yeah i know that but pointing out to others that this is a get out clause so don't count on this email as confirmation - i probably should have worded it better thanks for pointing it out

Thanks to the op. I ordered one and got the e mail but, like others, not holding my breath.
On the other hand, i did get one of the very cheap B&Q induction hobs last year so you never know!!
