I seriously doubt Debenhams would send an email with as many spelling errors. Debenhams would not give you a barbeque for phoning them up, they have strict policies to stop con artists. As lamp_gerry and scruff are the same person and most likely a bored teenager, probably best to ignore him/her/troll.

I seriously doubt Debenhams would respond to an email so quickly.. usually takes them days and days :rotfl:

Anyway, who ordered 50? That's out of order that. No one needs 50 barbecues. I don't even need one for God's sake!

    :ninja: Wasn't me! Honest. :rotfl:
  • just read debenhams t's & c's and they mention their right to cancel if there has been a pricing error. went on to ebay to see if there were any already on sale there but strangely not. there does seem to be a good rotisserrie bbq going at less than £300 and they have been selling for £350 so today's probably the time to get one on ebay whilst everyone else is busy ordering stuff that will never arrive

Hi guys, I too bought one of these and was then told they would not honour it. I spent easily 45 minutes on the phone. As I was on the phone, my kid started crying because he was really looking forward to it (he's only 6). The salesperson could hear he was upset and went to speak to her supervisor. Came back and said they would be prepared to take off £400 as a goodwill gesture!

Although it's still an expensive unit, I decided to take advantage of this deal! :T

    Schoolboy error there Pantera! :p
  • I just phoned debenhams, and got told that it was a mistake on their website, and they wouldn't let me buy it at that price.

    Nevermind.
