  • Think positively Guys. We have all saved ourselves £159 today by it not being honoured :-)

    And with the rain currently lashing it down outside, the last thing I really needed was a gigantic BBQ collecting rain in my garden....

    ...but it would have been nice!
    `Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have. :confused:

    I guess mine will have to sit in my hallway gathering dust getting in my way.. but I'm just well chuffed at that massive saving! :j

    edit: In all fairness I am actually going to give it to charity, please don't shoot me down!!

    Hi there,

    Just signed up here - someone pointed me to this page. I ordered this very product from them and after reading the many comments I thought I'd call them and check. I gave them a sob story about it being for a charity and they said they are still going to honour the deal & send me it for the price advertised, so you may just want to call their customer services dept. and try too. I had to go through to various different people and spent some considerable time on the phone, but it should be worth it!

    I don't even like barbeques, or have a garden, but don't want to miss such a bargain!

    Best of luck to all the rest of you too!

    Hmm, trolling.... or a seriously messed up person.

  • Why are people using charities for their own personal gain??
  • :money: Just rang them up and asked if I could have one for my Help for Heroes fundraiser. They said yes as long as I let the local papers know they donated it :rotfl:

    I don't even like the army! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Awooga! Amazing work Scruffymcscruffy
  • I do apologise Scruffmcscruff I read your post wrong. After reading the other one I assumed you had just said that you were doing a fund raiser so you could get a free barbeque for youself.
    Good on you - and Debenhams. I hope the fund raiser goes well!
  • I saw this thread on the forum and the tips in it. MSE was the reason behind me using one. Surely I've just done what this place is all about?

    That's exactly what I thought this place was for - to be proud of our money savingness?! But I've been sufficiently told off here for using a charity as an excuse to the point that I am now donating it to charity.. I might sell it to one for £200 though, at least they're still getting it a fraction of it's price, and I'll still save some money... what's people's view on this? (obviously I won't if it's the wrong thing to do of course!)
