These types of deals are often used to boost their database, plus the bit of overnight interest on the money pays for their admin cancelling orders.
Customers are happy to get their money back, but few cancel their newly registered accounts.

I had quite a few cancelled with Redcats Group (La Redoute, Vertbaudet, etc), and pointed out their dodgy practice.

I`ve never ordered from them since.
