HTC Hero will it ever go on sale on pay as you go?

I like the HTC Hero and would love to own it on Pay as you go and wanted to know if anyone know if it will ever go on sale to use on Pay as you go on Orange?

I have never seen HTC phones on pay as you go.

To be honest, if you take a smartphone on PAYG, make sure your PAYG deal includes internet usage or you're wasting your time. Orange give you 50mb if you top up £10, but that seriously won't be much good as the Hero, like the Desire is designed to be 'always on' and will soon eat into a miserly allowance like 50mb. Maybe you'd be better getting some kind of sim only deal and shoving that in the phone?
