Phone in the washer .... help !

My boyfriend who never listens has put his work mobile phone through the washer in his work trousers (after i told him to check his pockets :mad:). It is a Nokia 1112 and "we" need to replace it before his boss notices .....

Can anyone recommend a website or shop that sells these cheap and unlocked/available for t-mobile contract sim.....

Before you buy a new one - try putting it in rice! Sounds daft but my partner droped an ipod touch in to the toilet (clean thankfully!!!) we googled what to do and rice was recomended, we put it in a plastic tub, covered it completely in uncooked rice and put it on the floor underneath a radiator and a couple of days later - it worked, had a bit of moisture in the screen so put it back in the rice for another day and it was fine apart from loosing some of it's battery life so needed charging more often.
Other than that maybe ebay for a used one?

Ebay have a good selection of used - watching some items now, and the phone is under the radiator and in rice will keep you all posted thanks

Can you believe it - my other half got to work this morning and boss calls them all in - we're changing from t-mobile to vodafone so need all your phones in tomorrow to get all data changed over. ARGHHHH haha bad timing!

So he's going to fess up as they are getting new handsets
