Isp

Can anyone please recommend me an ISP, Virgin are driving me up the wall with their ********** """traffic management""" (bandwidth filtering). I'm not sat endlessly downloading torrents etc I just want to be able to watch more than 30 mins of Iplayer without being restricted, I mean I'm on an "unlimited" package for goodness sake! (Sorry for the rant).

Can anyone recommend an ISP that doesn't traffic manage or at least one that is reasonable with the amount it does, I'm not bothered about paying a bit more for it. I jsut want a decent service.

I know there's an Internet Board but I thoguht the techy guys might be a bit better suited to answer me :)

Thanks in advance.

If you are on VM cable service (as opposed to Virgin National ADSL), you don't have any other ISP options at all. You have to get a working BT line first before you can get any other service.

    Aptly named-they only cover:
Irvine, Troon, Kilmarnock, Carlisle, Morecambe and Lancaster.

What makes you think you are being throttled?

Iplayer takes precedence over torrents, so traffic management acts in your favour.
