Mystery shopping is very competitive though isn't it? I know that there is someone else in my home town as well. They might even be reading these threads. I think that we all aim to be annonymous so posting areas on the alerts threads takes that away. I wouldn't feel comfortable posting where I live but many people don't mind. I supose it's each to their own. I can see how fustrating it is when you see an alert and it's not showing in your account though :)

I do agree its a competitive area.. but posting a county... or city is hardly like posting your address.... I mean LONDON.. that's 32 different boroughs.... I just thought saves all that..." I can't see it and i"m in wales.. etc. etc....can you see it i'm down south stuff that goes on...

It is a pain not being able to go with kids!

customers should expect the same level of service whether they have children with them or not. 90% of the customers who visit burgers have children present. It's ridiculous to assess customer service levels this way and also it's not a true reflection. Oh well!

As expected.....when I'm away on holiday!!!!:(:(

Did my first Helion jobs yesterday. With an RE job sandwiched in between. What a difference in the questionnaires. Helion was direct and straightforward with comment fields at appropriate times. And a summary box at the end for additional information you wanted to include. I liked it.
RE was the usual comment on everything where I felt like I was saying the same thing every time.

Give a summary of your visit.
Give it marks out of 10, explain why.
Would you go back, explain why.
    Would you recommend, explain why.
Did you enjoy it, explain why.

    Aaaaaaaaggghhhhhh!

This is where good old "Copy & Paste" comes in handy. I say why it has got the marks out of 10 then copy & paste the same answer into the following three. All these questions have the same answers in my book.
    SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
    SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
    SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80
    SPC 11 (2018) #485

i dont have a problem with people knowing what area i live in and dont think i can be identified from what i say. eg i wont say i did a burger shop in norwich today as then gyp could easily work it out if they wanted to. i do jobs not just in my area so any jobs i refer to are not necessarily in my hometown.

i know there must be a few people doing it in norwich as lots of jobs go whilst i am reading notes, are assigned to someone else etc... sure the one person i know has a fast finger but cant be that fast lol! it is handy as you can help each other out :)

I agree, I missed the pay run for Feb but was told it would be deposited last day of March. I'll await till after Easter nd speak to them. I've never had a problem before either. I got marked 10/10 for each report so don't really understand it. I'm not losing sleep about it tbh, I am sure it's an oversight :)

Payment made this evening with a sincere apology for it being late. Genuine reason given :)

I know there is at least one other serious shopper near me. I miss out on about 15 GR assignments each month. I am lucky if I get three :( because I can't log on until after work at 4pm :(. That person has a seriously fast finger, the jobs are gone within minutes. He/she must live on the computer!

I did 2 of the Pharmacy jobs this week and they were so easy, as were the reports. I would happily have done 15 of them, even though they are a relatively low fee, but unfortunately there were only 2 left in my area when I looked.

I take it you won't be able to complain of a headache or backache for a while then with 15 packets of Nurofen (or whatever substitute they recommended) lol.

P.S. I also have the Curve and I love it. The only thing I've found is that I keep dropping it because it's so big so it's looking a bit battered at the moment.

Ha Ha, I know. I won't need headache tablets for month's and month's. The curve isn't that big me thinks but I'm going to get a case right now, lol.

I originally wanted the Nokia then saw an in-store demo of the Curve and instantly fell in love :smileyhea. Alas, i couldn't get my hands on one with the package deal i wanted. Discovered the 'berry 9700 and we are now happily engaged :rotfl: Tee-hee, i've just received my 1st ever 'push email' :D :j :T. Is it currrazeee to be this madly in love with an inanimate object? :o.

Thought my fingers would be too 'sausagey' for the keypad, MrShopper but it's dead easy to use :D. And its got GPS, no more getting lost looking for a bloomin store :p.

Quite true, I haven't been able to put it down all day. It's just perfect for this job :)

Am I able to claim for the new PC I bought in order to do MSing, (i only really use it for that, maybe 5% personal use??)

As far as I know, you can't claim for the whole cost of a PC plus accessories, software etc., in a tax year. You'll need to record it as an asset then claim the depreciation each year over the expected life of the asset.

You'll be able to claim the full cost of the man setting it up I think though, as that is a service you've fully used this year.
Here I go again on my own....
