Grrr what is it with ESA? Every time I do a job for them, its always the wrong address. Its happened 3 or 4 times now. And when I phone them up, they make out its my fault LOL.
It amazes me how an MS co can confuse the numbers 23 and 47..... and then put a completely different street name on one of the jobs!

Never thought about it before but it might be worth checking on Google first to save wasting time. :)

Does anyone have any experience of working for Retail Active? I've got a job that involves a huge reimbursement, which apparently they'll send to me within 48 hours of receiving my completed report, just wanting to hear people's opinions.

    Thanks in advance.

simple rule of thumb, if you can't afford to wait for the money back, don't do the job (regardless of what it is).

Not heard anything bad about Retail Active, always paid up OK.

It'd be not getting it back at all that I'd be worried about, but a couple of reputable people on here have confirmed that they're trustworthy, so that reassures me.

I have picked up similar today from them too, they have always been good before on smaller jobs so don't see why they won't reimburse the costs in 48 hours as promised, enjoy yours too, got mine as someone pulled out :)

I was not allowed it as they do not sell bacon. They are Halal.

I am shocked! I understand that they can not eat pork but somebody correct me if I am wrong but I doubt that the chicken is Halal so how can they still serve that!

Chicken can be halal, there are some KFC's near me trialling Halal stores, and I think its pretty normal in London.

But meat from a Pig is banned under Islam as it is meat from what they consider an unclean animal. The problem for food places is that to be 'halal certified' or whatever they call it they have to eliminate absolutely all potential sources of cross contamination between halal and non halal food stuffs, hence the stores not serving anything which comes from a pig.
Annoying yes, a major issue tbh no, hopefully the UK will catch on to the idea of 'beef bacon' as is used in most Islamic countries - I know when I go to Egypt we get "bacon" butties for breakfast on the liveaboards and while its not as good as real bacon it is a fair substitute.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

is this is an re sandwich shop? think they are franchises so supose if that is the local preference then they may well get halal meat products. i am sure i have seen some gap chicken places being advertised as halal before. when i was in manchester at uni nearly everywhere we ate was halal and i doubt that they would falsely claim it was, would be outrage!

it is an re food shop. I just don't think it's fair tbh. I can't have my normal food because other people don't eat it. i don't see why their personal choice should effect mine.

My co-worker at work is a vegi. doesn't mean he tell's me to change what i put in my sandwhich for work or that i have to sit at the other side of the office if i dare bring ham in.
