Just prepping for tomorrow and trying to think of suitable questions to ask!

When I have had a few jobs in a day they tend to be in driving distance of each other so I fill the form out in the car (out of sight obviously!) but tomorrow I have 7 within walking distance of each other! No chance to go back to car unless I walk past all the shops umpteem times and look like a tourist! Lol!

Just wondering how to remember it all! I think I'll make notes on my phone and just add the answers in as I walk between or maybe have a seat on a bench :o

Are any of them clothes stores? Nip to the changing room and make a few notes in there! Or even in a toilet cubicle?!!!

  • I applied to Amber Arch last month or so but never heard back from them. Didn't receive an email from them today either. Assume they don't want me then!

Nope! I got a really difficult set of shops! They are just small high street locally owned shops - no big chains so no cubicles or toilets.

I've just made the notes on my phone so I'll just have to look like a really rude chav who 'OMG just texts like ALL the time, you know like'

oooooooooooooo I meant to ask this earlier

Could someone post or maybe just PM me if they get assigned any so I know whether or not I've been successful?

I'm kinda hoping that as its a new company there aren't many people registered from round here! :rotfl:(wishful thinking I know!)

What about a good old fashioned paper and pencil and make it look like you have a shopping list? fold the list in half and make notes inside the fold

    Shop 1 -

    Shop 2 -

etc and scribble a few bits. You would have to decipher the notes as soon as you could tho if you're any thing like me after half and hour I'd be sat scratching me head and turning the paper round....

  • Thanks for the new thread TG

Was so excited to get my 1st ever email from AA. Agreed, they are a little odd though! Applied for 2 jobs in my town, as there's no way i could do them all .

I'll take it as read that i won't get any work off them this month or any other if this is how they operate :(.

Amber Arch are a little funny. They like to give one person all the jobs in a town, so if there are others in your town you probably wont get the one you applied for :(

I park further away, nip back to the car after 2 shops and then possibly move the car so I don't look so obvious!
I'm gonna look a right weirdo going into almost every shop on the same street - 'Oh Jackie (my LO) shall we go in the Chocolate shop to see what we can get for Mummy?' I'll look even weirder cos I constantly talk to my LO wherever we go - maybe I should get a dictaphone and say to LO 'Isn't this floor lovely and clean?' :rotfl:
