Not entirely straight forward to use for the novice, but hardly rocket science either, and it works brilliantly!
Looks good. Otherwise google maps does a pretty adequate job. Only problem is you're limited to 26 addresses.

Thanks both (and to Tudor for the PM)
Had a look round Google maps but will check out the other tomorrow.

Ian - I wouldn't need 26 addresses  so that limit is fine :rotfl:
Got 11 egg shops to do but have to work it around visitors staying - plan to do some just before they get here on Thursday then a few more when the bu66er off out Friday morning then any leftover can be done Saturday morning.

Will need to clear fridge space for all these eggs!

Where does the time go?

Anyone know how to plot all your jobs on a map?
So enter the postcodes on a website and they will all appear.

I thought Mysterious Girl said she had pinpointed hers on Multimap but I can't see how to do it. Want to plan my route for egg shops

    Thanks

26 addresses, LOL, don't let St00zer hear you say that, he'll be back for advice on how to get 26 jobs within a 50m radius on one day!!

Glamz .... I use Google maps. Easy and simple. I plot my stores, work out the best route, then, if they're in an area I don't know well, I just make a note of the postcode and then put them in my Sat nav while I'm out and about.

open a google page, go to maps at the top and put in postcode such as xx10 1xx to yy10 to 1yy and hit enter and it will show them on map and give directions. Use your home postcode as the first one. Under these two postcodes on the left of the screen there is a box that says 'add destination' click that and add your next postcode and so on. If you find you have doubled back on yourself on the map then change the order of the postcodes over and re-calculate. You can then email the map to yourself to pick up on your phone or print it out

    Hope that makes sense!

edited to add - use the last postcode as your home one too and it gives you mileage travelled for the day for your records too

re-edited as I typed in a rush and the mistakes were terrible!

Many thanks off to the day job, unfortunately I can not access from work so apologies for the delays in my thanks.

    Have a good day everybody.

You may need to be sitting down to read this post but I'm really impressed with RE! :T
I carried out an electrical store visit on Saturday only to find when I got home I'd shopped the wrong store and it was too late to do the correct one (there's only one branch of this electrical store in my town but the assignment postcode was for another store). I'd already submitted my report so I sent them an email explaining and asking if they wanted me to shop the other store. Today I've received a phonecall from them saying it was their mistake, the assignment doesn't need redoing and that I will still be paid! :j
Also last week I received a call asking me to carry out an urgent pub visit to be done today and they would pay me a (small) fee as well as the reimbursement. This morning there was no fee showing against the assignment so I contacted them to advise of this and I've just completed my assignment to find that they've doubled the agreed fee! As well this my sister and I had a lovely pub lunch and the report was extremely straight forward and easy to complete. :D

I don't work for RE (honest) but thought I'd share my joy with you all :D Perhaps the message is getting through to them...

So really what you're saying is that you're happy with the way they've dealt with their own mistakes.....?

Just wondered if GfK only do banks? That's all I ever seem to see on there - I've done a few but would like something different!

They do quite a few other visits but it depends on what's available in your area and I think some only show after you are established with them. I have done restaurants, government offices, bingo halls, cafes, telephone shopping and telephone calls with them, so there's hope for a change for you yet! The banks are pretty well paid and fairly easy but they do get a bit boring don't they?

Keep an eye out for the large blue shop off the M32, I'm too young to do it! Also bingo, a few convenience shops and they get a fair few mail shots where you sit at home waiting for the mail to arrive.
