You know with the RE sandwich jobs can you get the meal deal and claim it back? Or can you only get the sandwich?

You can claim up to the reimbursement limit, if you choose to accept their offer of upgrade to a meal then RE still only pay up to the reimbursement amount.

I read it as "you are expected to fail" and that does not work for me.
Its a shame our records will be wiped out.

I was deliberately answering questions wrongly so I would fail. Mind you, I then go thrown out for cheating! Kind of glad the records get wiped.;)
  • Argh! I did a travel MS for GR yesterday and have a bit of a query about it but I need to submit my report today and they arent back until Tuesday, Basically all the questions they ask on the report I have answered correctly , and they are mostly positive, but something became apparant after the visit that had been done incorrectly, there is no "other commets" box or anything to put the info in but it was quite a significant error. No idea what to do. Any advice?

With it being for the same company I would charge job 1 the mileage to shop A and job 2 the mileage from A to shop B and home

I wouldn't try it with react. Most small companies will recognise if you try and overclaim. I'd put the higher mileage on the further away shop, or I'd just claim it all on one and send an email. The company would appreciate it.

Nothing to worry about, though worth noting that if you get caught trying to get more from a company then that's probably your career over with them. :)

I wouldn't try and claim you did two round trips as it may be spotted and they will be able to tell from your times that you didn't do that. I would either put the full round trip against one journey, or half the mileage for the round trip against each job. Depends on how the company works really.

Companies do check. I just had a call last week from a company as I'd put down a travelling time of 50 minutes to a call and they'd worked out the distance should have taken me no more than 30 minutes. That was my mistake as I'd accidentally typed 50 instead of 20 minutes on my keypad. They were fine though as it was obviously a typing error.

Thanks for all your responses on this. I've just discovered I've had my number plate nicked overnight (grrrr), so I won't be driving anywhere today, but it's useful to know for next time. Now I just have to decide if I attempt the trip on the bus or reschedule!

I have one of these tomorrow.. the assignment notes state image of receipt, pizza and store. So i'm guessing they will require that to be uploaded. I'd rather take a piccie and not use it than have to go back!
