    Nope, I did too. (100%)

    Yes, I think you were supposed to fail, but my competitive nature took over. I actually came home and said that I would rather not get my fee, than fail the test!

    Good on ya girl!!:beer::j:beer::j:T:T:T

    I read it as "you are expected to fail" and that does not work for me.
    Its a shame our records will be wiped out.

    Here's a random late night question for you:

    Tomorrow I have 2 shops to do for the same company, both with fuel money (yay!).

    My plan is to drive from home to Town A for Shop 1, then to Town B for Shop 2, then home.

    Does claiming mileage for home to A then to B for shop 1 and claiming for B to home for shop 2 sound OK? Or should I spread it out some other way? Or (naughty) can I claim for 2 round trips? (Think I'd probably expire from guilt if I tried that one).

    It's possible that I'm having late-night-post-pint paranoia about all this - are companies that give fuel money picky about it?

    With it being for the same company I would charge job 1 the mileage to shop A and job 2 the mileage from A to shop B and home

    I wouldn't try it with react. Most small companies will recognise if you try and overclaim. I'd put the higher mileage on the further away shop, or I'd just claim it all on one and send an email. The company would appreciate it.

    Nothing to worry about, though worth noting that if you get caught trying to get more from a company then that's probably your career over with them. :)

    I wouldn't try and claim you did two round trips as it may be spotted and they will be able to tell from your times that you didn't do that. I would either put the full round trip against one journey, or half the mileage for the round trip against each job. Depends on how the company works really.

    Companies do check. I just had a call last week from a company as I'd put down a travelling time of 50 minutes to a call and they'd worked out the distance should have taken me no more than 30 minutes. That was my mistake as I'd accidentally typed 50 instead of 20 minutes on my keypad. They were fine though as it was obviously a typing error.
    Here I go again on my own....

    You know with the RE sandwich jobs can you get the meal deal and claim it back? Or can you only get the sandwich?
