  • Whee! My first drive-through went without a hitch - phew!

And regarding the receipt comments, I was actually asked if I would like a VAT receipt, which she'd already printed off! (Which was good as I'd almost forgotten about receipts by that point!)

if anyone else could not register with PIP before (I tried a few times last year using firefox) this now seems to be fixed. I was able to register last night and just got 3 jobs which I am really pleased with. All a bit of a drive from me but worth doing for a new company.

Hope everyone is having a good day my foot is swollen and I am feeling dreadful so not going out working today but sorting out pdf's, scans, paperwork etc - i.e. takes hours! :D

I seem to have an intolerance to certain margarines (the rubbish they put in them) I realised last year and if I use decent olive oil spreads the swelling I had in my foot for 6 years went over night! (Doctors had convinced me it was blood pressure). Anyhow tesco's own make obviously does not agree with me as I had some on toast yesterday and foot is swollen and hurting and I feel puffy all over and not me at all :( partner got me sainsburys own make (which I know I am ok with) so at least I was able to have a sandwich for lunch but not sure how many days this is going to take to go. I am not a happy bunny today :( going to try and get some sleep on the sofa I think.

Wow that must have been a hard slog. I find the edigital surveys time consuming and annoying. I take my hat off to you. I can only manage about 4 month - just enough to build up one invoice!

Yes, I think they have. Not that I ever got paid for any of my referrals anyway...

Its my favourite work actually :o- I am a bit geeky and my degree was in computing so I seem to be at home doing them (not sure what it says about me :rotfl:). Also last summer I had one quiet month and the only work I had was with them (I had just registered) so I always go out of my way to do as much work as I possibly can for them.

If you know for a fact that your referrals carried out the requisite amount of work (I forget, was there a number of jobs they had to do or something?) then contact RE asking them to pay up. I did this during the autumn and got my money through. Their referral fee was pretty poor anyway - was much happier with the €25 I got for referring my father to bare :)

Oh my day stuck at home has just got better! partner has ordered me an early birthday present as I need it for ms and uni work (at the moment I use his old mac but this model has wireless issues so wont work without being plugged into a router!). He has just ordered me a refurbed dell (bargain in other words! lol) - no idea what I am getting or when it will be here! I will now have to get everything transferred to that and try to remember how to use a windows machine again! lmao All very exciting!
