Yep, you might as well have "I'm a mystery shopper" written on your forehead, ask for a receipt and you'll probably get "The Show" as we call it on here - staff carrying your tray, opening doors, offering extra drinks, cleaning tables that aren't clean and sweeping the floor that doesn't need sweeping, bringing balloons for kids ... I even had the MANAGERESS sweeping the car park right by my car as I left once!!!! You just have to try and keep a straight face!

I had a bank job recently where the staff showed no interest in me paying in cash to my account.
But when a certain question was asked they all sprang to life and manager was called.
As I was leaving the bank I turned to see the manager and all three tellers waving and smiling as if I was a long lost friend.
  • over 500 kcal just like that

Did one of these yesterday, didn't realise there was that many calories in the react cake

Feel really really guilty now... Have a chicken shop and an ice cream shop for next week too now... Diet has definitely gone out the window!

Wish I could find a sports shop with a huge reimbursement - could get myself a treadmill :rotfl:

I am sitting here starving having used about a third of my calories allowed for today on a cake in a react coffee shop earlier. I had been really good and planned to eat half the cake and allowed for that in my food planning today.. but I was sitting in the shop (trying to remember the names of the sandwiches in the fridge for my report), drinking my coffee and eating my cake when I realised that it was all gone - over 500 kcal just like that

MS just is not good for my diet.:rotfl:
    .

I'm trying to stick to the weight watchers diet :A I HAD to eat the React cake and also did a store cafe where I had to have some thing hot. I chose a toasted teacake (without butter) thinking it would be less fat than a toasted sandwich. I only had enough points left for a plain salad for my tea (dinner if you're posh) Went to bed starving. :( Can't wait to get up and get my Shreddies.
It made me realise just how many calories/fat I was eating before the diet.

Does anybody work for Retail Rapport & Storecheckers?

I looked at these sites but said you needed reference's. As i was a newbie started with easier sites and left these. Anyone know whether it's worth the bother?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

It was one of the reasons I was quite happy when Gyp no longer needed my services! I tend to avoid MS jobs involving food now (unless it is a decent place where I dont mind sacrificing the points eg the burgers on RE) The donut job is the worst and I always avoid the cookies too.

You're not the only one! I think you get 3 goes. You don't need to get 100% though.

    Good luck!

Hi - I work for Storecheckers & have done for about a year. I can't remember if I needed references though. Storecheckers are pretty good, they email a list of jobs around the beginning of the month & you reply saying which you'd like to do. Fees are pretty good too, and the people are lovely. So I'd say it's worth it!
