TNS have sent me an email today about an urgent shop they want done. I know I cannot mention the name of the shop but it just says to make a purchase and not what that purchase should be. Is it likely to be anything I want and, if so, is there a minimum I must spend.

Depends on the type of shop, without any clue I can't really say. TNS supermarkets for example you can usually buy anything you want, but TNS pubs they specify what they need you to buy.

Pennies I saw you whip that burger job from under my nose, your finger is about 2 seconds faster than mine ;)

I have just taken two and can still see others!
  • I did Mystery Shopping a while back. With Retail Eyes and some other agency that I can't remember the name of. Looking to get back into it, who are the better companies at the moment?

Wow it makes my bad day look like nothing...sending best wishes that back and leg improve and so less pain.

Hopefully the Company will see that some jobs are not suitable or worth it. I rejected crisps since it seemed a lot of effort and creeping around for such a small fee and the company has given be other jobs so hopefully you will be ok also.:)

thanks my back and leg is an ongoing thing for the rest of my life now. had surgery and then the scar tissue meant i was still in same pain so had intensive physio for year and can walk around and carry things and drive etc so i am so grateful for that. when i first saw the physio i could not lift my legs up from a laying position at all and i was in a terrible state he told me later he thought it would take me at least 2 years to start making progress. i worked endlessly at little exercises and it paid off big time - before even when getting better i could not stand in a queue or even carry a small handbag so was a nightmare :(

whats left is nerve damage in my bad leg and feet and i get reoccurring pain and back ache sometimes if i have done too much. its all manageable and i can tolerate it compared to what i have been through but if I go down on my knees I am in agony so something i avoid doing. the nerve damage takes 2 years to heal and i am past that now and it did get better but this is as good as it will now ever be. i am not whinging as i am so grateful the horrific pain has gone and i can stand, walk, drive and do normal day to day things now.

i just hope that i wont get penalised as i am not disabled obviously but i have certain limits with things i can do. mystery shopping is great for me as i can pick and choose what i do and when so i dont do anything stupid or get overly tired and then not think about how i am walking standing or bending as if i do anything incorrectly my back will start hurting again.

I read earlier posts about Helion grading evaluations, but I can't find my grades. Where are they?

they sent me emails with grades in them. i got 3 emails out of the 4 reports i did. i got 100% for everything but still had different numbers in the email so not sure what it all meant to be honest :o
  • Just taken a burger job - first job with RE for many months due to being put off by the looooong questionnaires.

    Hopefully I won't regret it!! :p
