Need a new, cheap PC...

How do.

It's been a few years since I've bought a new PC. I need to replace my recently deceased machine.

Any recommendations for reputable websites that sell decent but cheap machines? I don't need it for gaming or anything so a basicish one will do. I also don't really need a new monitor.

Which sites can you recommend?

Try Ebay Check Auctions on the left side of the screen not Buy It Now theres some good spec desktops on there at the moment and quite a lot ending soon and pretty cheap.

What's your budget? 'Cheap', in this context can mean anything from a ex-corporate Pentium IV running XP (say £50) to a new Core Duo machine running W7 (say £400).

On EBay only a few months back. Called their sales and got more than I expected inc a 3 year on site warranty for £277 (that's just the processor not monitor or keyboard. Look them up, I have no problems suggesting them

This is one you have to do a few times ...Items change and if some else is looking at items they will be hidden for 15 minutes.

for offers that are popular ..nothing much at the moment ..But again a few days of looking should get you a good offer , just wait for a hot one that everyone is praising to high heaven.

Is that your opinion based on fact or just how your "friend" felt. I got mine from them based on a referral from a work colleague who has had his for 12 months...... No faults, no build issues and to be honest I have recieved very good customer service (Just for the record)
The company also does well on ebay feedback as well..........
