Ordered a copy of Flight Simulator 2004: A Century Of Flight this afternoon, still shows on web site...but order say 'not currently available'.
I very rarely criticise people but Woolies really are muppets:D0 -
Cancelled here too. Oh well, only ordered one for my nephew because it was so cheap with free post, so not too upset !0

Most companies are adopting the phrase of orders are not confirmed until they are despatched so they can get out of the contract if needs be and just say it was a "pricing error" of "we cannot obtain stock"
It is annoying but you win some and lose some0 -
I don't mind them cancelling the order due to misprice or even incompetent stcok management - but to go through the most bizarre security check via email for a product they can't even supply is taking the proverbial.0

If they cannot provide or be prepared to provide the item at the cost they state, then they have lost my custom completely, and I have replied to them to say this.
They should honour all outstanding orders, and pulled the plug on the stock, once they realised they had been hit, but pulled the ridiculous 'Security' stunt
of which I also complained, and asked if it was a spoof email !!
I will now be boycotting Woolworths LOUDLY0 -

I am so annoyed, at stupid woolworths, I ordered The Incredibles, Finding Nemo (ps2) and Scooby Doo on PC on 2 August on my partner's card. He got a security email asking to confirm a few details which he did promptly and then a few hours later got another one asking for the same details, quite a few people have been complaining of that and saying their orders were being cancelled. I emailed Woolworths to ask them why we had two security checks and failed to get a reply. I emailed them again saying we were buying these for my son's birthday in three weeks time and please don't cancel the rest of the order. Scooby Doo has been despatched, not sure what's going on with The Incredibles but Finding Nemo has been cancelled as they are' 'out of stock' Fine, you might say but http://www.woolworths.co.uk/ww_p2/product/index.jhtml?pid=50209073
Now the product is mysteriously back in stock, on the very same day they have cancelled a lot of orders, I am fuming, this is disgusting. If you follow the link you will see the price has been increased. I can't help think that these security checks were delaying tactics to stop people from getting the games at £2.00, at least in respect of Finding Nemo. Is there anything we can do? I think this is disgusting customer service and is really dishonest to boot. Any advice?

I don't think that the Finding Nemo game that we placed an order on was a Platinum version as is showing in your link.

Just contacted them via email. Suggesting they visit here and have a look at the negative feeling building up. Don't expect we'll hear anything though. And, even if they are within there rights to cancel orders they can't fulfill, I think what also p's us off is the fact we were getting security authorisation emails, and confirmation that goods were in stock.

I'm sorry to all those who didn't recieve their items.
I got home yesterday to a parcel from Woolworths. I'm not sure why I was picked above others but I did get my copy of Nemo (Platinum version) but not Incredibles. I did however order about £20 of stock with a few other bits chucked in so this is maybe why I received mine as well as the fact I have made a few other orders previously.
That said, I don't want to annoy people, but its inaccurate to say the game is rubbish. It is a very good game and, although I'm 20, it is still very enjoyable for its good gameplay, story and accuracy for the film. For a 9-14 year old it would be perfect for boy or girl or even younger if they are particularly intelligent or good with computer games.0 -

I totally agree. I got Finding Nemo from WHSmiths in time for last Christmas. I think it was a fiver and thought it was a great game for the money.
If anyones interested, WHSmith are selling it for £5.99 currently (store pick-up available) and it's in stock!!!This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune! :doh:
