Have had a very bad/good couple of days - good in tht I've had fun but bad in that I have spent lots of money I can't afford. It was definately a Bi polar thing but that doesn't make it any better when you can't afford it!! :-( Think I need to get someone to look after my cards and stuff, thats the problem with being on my own, when Trev was here he would "reign me in" but I have no one to help anymore except the kids and it's not fair to put that responsibilty on them.Light Bulb Moment 29/03/10!!Starting Fresh to get my house and finances sorted! 02/02/120

Don't beat yourself up over it. It's part of your illness, so there is very little you can do. The one thing I have found that works for me is to keep the receipts!!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120

Very true. :-)
Feeling a bit better, though have had a really hard time at work - blac eye, quite a few body bruises and a cracked rib!! Not really what you go to work for!!
Money wise a lot better, I've arranged with my mortgage company and nursery to pay them weekly so that I don't have the money sitting there calling me for weeks.
Hope evryones ok.

I've just subscribed to the save/earn £10 a day in december thread so thought I would practice for a few days and see how i do. So my plan is to save/earn £20 in the next 2 days to go towards crafty things to make christmas presents - wish me luck!!

Hi C,
I'm not too bad, all change on the job front - I quit my job in a moment of madness but think it probably was the best thing to do. Feel a lot calmer now and just trying to get things in order.
Thanks for thinking of me and hope you're ok.

I once quit my job simply because I hated it and had enough and it was the best thing I ever did, never looked back so very best of luck to you!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

I quit my job as an assistant manager in a pub on a whim - decided I wanted to have more nights off. Three weeks later I met my future husband - he was the licensee of my brother's local pub. Ended up running our own pub and working every hour that God sent!!
So quitting my job was the best move ever!!!
