Aargh, so cross with myself for spending today.

Was absolutely convinced i would have a NSD, but then ran out of bin liners essential for tidying up the DIY. So popped to the local shop that never shuts & managed to spend £13 on rubbish.... sausages & bread as i had a sudden urge for a sausage sarnie, chocolate, pop & a couple of trashy magazines (i did remember the bags tho!!)

Why oh why do i always have to buy something unnecessary????? :(

As you reach for each thing you could remind yourself of your username :D but in all seriousness, how about taking the right amount of money so you cant buy anything else even if tempted?

    Hi Cleosmum
That's exactly why i picked my user name because i need to start asking myself that question more, i just seem to forget quite regularly!!

I think you are right, i need to stop carrying money & my card, it might take a while for me to stop wanting to buy stuff but at least i won't have the means!!!!

Oh well am going to try & make up for it tomorrow, have to do a grocery shop, but will be sticking to a very strict list, i'm going to try your suggestion & only take £20. If i don't need it i'm not buying it & i won't let myself go over budget.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

  • My first NSD today and yesterday was a LSD (£1 on a cup of tea).

Made a lot easier as did not leave the house, except to walk the dogs and nowhere near a shop!

Spent £12 in the Co-op today :( . I did get about £40's worth of shopping, but still, no NSD.

    Good luck everyone tomorrow. :j
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I'm a bit late joining this month but I'm going to aim for 10 NSDs. I'm not being a wuss after reaching less than half of my target last month, honest! :o

I'm expecting a busy month in april, hopefully in May I can get back to upping my targets again!

NSD number 3 for me :j

You are doing a stirling job on this thread Spoon - go on, treat yourself to some more chocolate you deserve it :EasterBun

Although I had not planned a NSD for today, it turned into one as DH was ill and we did not go to our normal car boot/cafe - so this is an extra one for me :D:D

I'm not doing so well on the NSDs... none so far! But on the plus side, a few of them have been very low spends, 99p today on bread. So it will happen, it will, it will... but not tomorrow as I'm off grocery shopping (whilst sneaking in a cheeky mystery shop).

    Hi everyone
Well, I had typed a really long post congratulating everyone on their NDSs today and welcoming the newbies... went to submit it and lost the lot:mad:

I haven't got the heart or the stamina to retype it now:(:(

Everyone's totals have been updated and the newbies have been added to the front page.

Well done everyone, you're all doing brilliantly :T. Will update again a couple of times tomorrow... grrrrrr to computers sometimes:mad:
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
