    Hi Cleosmum
That's exactly why i picked my user name because i need to start asking myself that question more, i just seem to forget quite regularly!!

I think you are right, i need to stop carrying money & my card, it might take a while for me to stop wanting to buy stuff but at least i won't have the means!!!!

Oh well am going to try & make up for it tomorrow, have to do a grocery shop, but will be sticking to a very strict list, i'm going to try your suggestion & only take £20. If i don't need it i'm not buying it & i won't let myself go over budget.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Hi butdoineedit?; (just realised what your user name is, brilliant:)). Think Cleosmum is right, you probably need to stop carrying money and card - this seems to work really well for lots of the peeps on here:).
Good luck with your grocery shopping tomorrow, fingers and toes crossed for you.

Although I had not planned a NSD for today, it turned into one as DH was ill and we did not go to our normal car boot/cafe - so this is an extra one for me :D:D

    Awwww .... thanks 3Dogs:A

I already had the curtains and rug. I went to Tesco Homestore and they had a really good selection plus 10% off so I was well chuffed.:D Also bought a few things on ebay but didnt spend a lot.

Morning all! It won't be a NSD for me today unfortunately, I have to buy ink for the printer so I can print off all the job applications I've done recently to post tomorrow.
Why is ink soooooo expensive? Poo!

I am declaring today a NSD as I have so so much on my list of things to do this bank holiday that I have not done... so no going out for me today!

Already updated my Gas and Electricity readings (a day late! grrr) does anyone else find their Gas is in overdrive? I think it is time to switch the central heating off permanently!

Am about to scour the web for a soup recipe - I have a bag of brown lentils and some chicken, herbs and a slow cooker!

Finished one of my knitted long socks last night - but need to get loads of other stuff done before relaxing with the knitting of the other sock!

I have loads of work to do before tomorrow - must charge all the mobiles and send an update of my testing plan - tomorrow it is time to test in earnest. Must get all my expenses in order and submit them. Must clear out email box!

Need to write an email to my ex-husband about DS visit in August - without any venom as I am fairly sure he has made promises he cannot keep - never paid a cent in maintenance for near on 10 years and now he plans to buy DS a plane ticket to visit for a year... I will believe it when I see it!!

Ironing pile is growing and there is still a load or two of washing!

Ebay stuff - I have been meaning to add stuff for sale but been too lazy!

Copy a set of CD's for a friend - motivational CD's - Tony Robbins - he is AMAZING!

So - that said - too much work to find time to spend money! I now declare today my 3rdNSD!

    Have a lovely day everyone!

Oh and off to feed the neighbors cats! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Morning everyone. Just caught up with all your postings. Rachel - I hope you have a Catridge World near you (I think that's what it's called) - you save money taking your empty cartridges to be refilled there rather than buying new. Jintyb - congrats on the decorating - well done! Wit40 - Tony Robbins is fab - must get some of his stuff, I love anything like that. I'm a huge fan of Paul McKenna's motivational stuff too. Have a lovely Bank Holiday everyone xx
