Don't worry, I didn't understand what emotional affair was either.....What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
No and no. I'm not really sure what one is, but if it's about having 'romantic' feelings for someone else or feeling closer to someone else than my husband then no, and if I ever felt that way I'd tell my husband straight away to avoid escalation of the situation.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

assuming all the recent celeb text sex would count under this too?
Physical or emotional - it's all the same = wrong!0 -
I know a couple of people who started that way....it tends to lead to physical in the end
I certainly wouldn't be happy if my OH was emotionally involved with someone else.....to me that would be worse than some one 'just' having a physical affair. I'm stumped over 'emotional affair' too, this could lead down the path again of what constitutes an affair........Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

Sorry for the cryptic thread, I did mean as in relations or http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/relationships/article725246.ece0

I read that and I thought 'oh there's nothing wrong there' until I got to the point where they lied to their partners. That's when it crossed a line for me.
I worked with a guy who I couldn't wait to come into the office as he really made my day pass so much quicker, we went though so much work-wise including being made redundant. I didn't however look at him in any romantic way, or find him attractive. I still meet him for lunch every now and again and we get on so well, it's just like he's female friend but in a male body.........Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Or this as a more to the point explanation
