Hi i've got 3,600 in A&L for 2009/10 and i'm going to transfer this plus put another £5,100 into birmingham/midlands is this better than just putting £5,100 straight into my A&l account, thank you

It's probably a silly question but how do I find what interest i'm getting with the A&L ?0

It's an easy ISA which I believe to be 3.5% but that will drop to 0.5% as this will be my second year and I was going to transfer it to birmingham/midlands at 2.75% -i don't really understand that's why I need help please.0
