  • yes i agree i think lovefilm should be kept a eye on, screenselect was great
but all this merging into lovefilm is a load of crap its all abount saving money and supplying a crap service to make money delays excuses its a load of crap
  • I too was with Screenselect which was great until the merge with Lovefilm. Now not seen a disc for 8 days. They have the cheek to say 'unexpected demand from the merger'. Erm, how about this maths..

x screenselect customers + y lovefilm customers = Total customers.

Add to that the rate at which they were both growing at and you know exactly how much demand there will be.

Anyway, I have now cancelled my account after an insulting offer of 5 free days added to my account.

Phone number to call is 01279 770080 instead of the 0870 609 5384. It got answered after 3 rings - I had spent 6 mins waiting on the 0870 number - very suspicious.

I am with Tesco DVD Rental under lovefilm! Since the merger of video Island, Screen Select and LoveFilm all now under love film! The service has gone down hill! It is taking days to allocate films! And when they do they are never newer films! It seems the service has not changed and i dont believe screen selects, video islands staff have been involved in the merger. It seems like a downgrading! One service provider finding it difficult to provide a service to all the business it has now accumilated! Maybe stay clear until they iron out the significant problems? What other people think?
