My advice, find out where she works and go for an attachment of earnings. You get paid as a deduction from her wages :)

Oh if only I could find out where she works, would have saved a load of time and cause her maximum embarrassment :D

Hmmm, maybe I should change the thread title to "Can anyone suggest a good PI"....or is there another way? Managed to find her on the LinkedIn network but it doesn't list her current place of work.

I'd save my £100 and spend it on a decent PI, find out where she works. Bang the paperwork in and see if she's still laughing then... Or alternatively buy yourself a fedora, shades and a spy mac and DIY!

That's moneysaving and a good laugh :) Actually this outfit seems pretty inconspicuous, maybe this would work...

As we've already got the CCJ do you think that debt collection companies wouldn't be interested? I'd have though the opposite as we've done most of the hard work already.
Debt collection agencies usually purchase the debt from the creditor at a lower amount and try and enforce for the full amount. They do this by threatening legal action but since you've already done this they would probably see that you've exhausted all legal avenues and wouldn't be interested.

I read something last night that you have to apply to have a CCJ to be put on someone's credit report. Is this true or does the court automatically add it?
It gets added automatically if you win by default otherwise you need to take enforcement (e.g. bailiffs) for it to be added. If you want, you can obtain a copy of their CCJ record to see if it's on there.

You might want to consider the fact that CCJs are very difficult, sometimes impossible to enforce against someone who really doesn't want to pay. There was a website (which no longer exists) about a man who tried every possible way of enforcing a debt against an individual. Despite making her bankrupt she carried on running a business and never paid a penny of the debt...
