Quick question on laptop

It must be present on the machine or the driver wouldn't be behaving as it is. It is possible that the card has come adrift from it's socket (it'll be underneath one of the flaps screwed down on the underside of the laptop. Or maybe the drivers are corrupted. Trouble is, Medion don't have any drivers on their site for thi laptop, just the manual so it'll be fun and games working out which driver is the right one to install.0

OK, It seems that the drivers for the E5211 are the same as for the E5214 (same Medion MD number acording to Medion's German website).
If you go to http://www.medion.co.uk/service/?drivers_updates/drivers_updates.htm and type in 97296 in the box for MD/LT numbr, you will get a list of available drivers.
The driver for the wireless lan is the last but one in the list http://www1.medion.de/downloads/download.pl?id=7430&type=treiber&filename=wlane521xwxpvst.exe&lang=uk0
