Tickets for Wicked that won't bankrupt me?

I really want tickets for wicked for tuesday evening but during 6 weeks holidays, where would you say best seats are front of dress circle or stalls?

Having seen the show from each tier of seating, I would say stalls, if you're a shortie its worth noting the rake on the stalls isn't that great so take a cardie to sit on for a bit of extra height if needed!

I don't want to spoil it for you but there is a fair bit of action 'above stage level' so the circle does have its moments, again trying not to spoil it for you but the 'show stopping' song at the end of act one is pretty good from the circle if you want to focus on the main character but you lose some of the lighting and ensemble effects on stage level from the circle. I say 'show stopping' in quotations because my personal show stopping song is in act two and is at stage level :P
