If you go into the theatre on the day of the performance you can get student/oap/unemployed etc tkts for £25 instead of £60. Mon - Fri subject to availability
Just be aware that the ticket prices go up in a few weeks! Ticketmaster is their inhouse agency and the safest option to use as u will always get priority if any seating problems arise, and that happens quite often!0 -
What date do they increase in price?0

Just been on ticketmaster and its increased already, must have been in the last few days, but I'm pretty sure the 'restricted view' seats have been increased and many are not restricted at all.0

The risk with day tickets is that you may not get them. You will need to be there for well before the opening of the box office. If you are coming from quite a distance away this may not be possible or may not be worth the risk.0

Hi try http://theatremonkey.com/ I love this site as it tells you which tickets are the best value for money, it has seating plans, they have a theatre ticket shop too and latest special offers - I have never bought tickets from them as I usually take a chance on the day tickets wherever possible. If you have no special date in mind during the summer holidays they do "Kids Week" (http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/) where you buy the adult ticket and get the kids one free.

Hi
I used www.toptable.co.uk to book our tickets for Wicked on New Years Eve and it was a lot cheaper than everywhere else I had looked.
It is well worth the money going to see - the best show I've seen in ages and Im still humming the songs even 4 months later!
Have fun!:j0 -
Some great advice here....been thinking about going to see this show for months now! I think that I will end up paying quite a bit but surely its worth it for a once in a lifetime experience. I want to have a great view so I dont come out disappointed and jealous of all those in the much better seats! Ive never been to the theatre before!!0

It must be me but I spent £72 on a ticket for Wicked on Saturday night and was bored so much that I left at the interval, I couldn't have watched another hour of that!
Nothing wrong with the singing or effects, just too twee!
I have seen all of the top West End musicals and this one was the only one that let me down, I was very disappointed, I also saw the Lion King yesterday which was excellent.
It takes all sorts!Filiss0 -
I love Wicked - have been 3 times, each time in cheap seats in stall - row E far off to one side and think these cheap seats are a bargain as you're close enough to see everything and being off to one side isn't a problem.
Taking the addiction one step further, I really wanted to see it from the Circle but without heads in the way, so I booked 11 months in advance and got £60 seats but in the front row of the Circle, slap bang in the middle. Can't wait!! And now Lee Mead's going to be in in too...:j:j:j0
