This really takes the biscuit now!!!

I informed the buyer that Paypal would be investigating and that on their advice I was about to go to the police station.

Just got back from there (incidently they asked me to phone it through as I had not taken the buyers full name and address with me) ready to phone them and note that I have an email from paypal stating that the buyer has now closed the case stating that the buyer has said we resolved the issue amicably (pmsl)

When I told her of my intent she said that she had already been to the police and paypal about me over a week ago due to the games case not being in the parcel claiming that I had stole from her:rotfl: The fact that rectification was offered through sending the games seperately(and therefore not protected by paypal) but she also then escalated the claim to get a full refund -obviously paypal told her she could have a refund if she returned the goods and could prove shipping (hence the envelope)

I have just received this message from the buyer:

i have closed the dispute your items in post your money is available
i did this on advise of paypal
because you now have stole from me

Apparently she will now be taking action against me.I've contacted paypal and the guy on the phone pretty much laughed at what this woman had said and said 'so she's realised she won't get away with it,closed it and is trying to scare you into giving her the money back'. There is no way paypal advised her to close the claim (especially considering her giving supposed proof of delivery and requesting a refund) and then take action against me.

They will not do anything further as she cannot reopen a claim with them over this.He said I can still take it to the police if I wish due to her attempts of deception and he doesn't know what she is claiming she is going to do.

She says she's going to the police regarding the games:eek:

The tracking number she submitted as the item was the A5 envelope I received this morning.

Regarding her items (sent to her),they have been tracked

So, she's sent you a bit of paper pretending it's the items returned for a refund?

My advice is print out these two threads & DO NOT edit any of your posts as they are all time and date stamped a running account of what has happened. :)

Edit: Oops there was meant to be a confused looking shocked smiley next to the question

at least its you with the evidence when columbo comes round to investigate you :o
  • The police probably won't pay any attention to it, I believe it's a civil matter.

I have actually just reported it to them on paypals advice (even though she's closed the claim now she realised she couldn't get away with it) and they said that if she continues to persue and paypal issue refund they will look into the matter.

She's still harping on in messages.I think she has a screw loose somewhere. Why is she still requesting a refund????

She stated a few minutes ago that she posted the items this morning so wants a refund now then I received another message saying that she wants a refund and will post the items when she's received one

    I don't get what's wrong with her

Just ignore her until you get the stuff back.
(bear in mind that if she does send it back, it is quite possibly going to be damaged!)
If she doesn't send it back, she won't get a refund - simples.
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??
