I'd say, save some money for emergencies....save the rest for paying off each debt as and when you can...Then you're ready for any eventuality then
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

I have a friend who can do them for considerably cheaper, but for whatever reason you can't just buy one normal copy of the pic! The cheapest "package" is £13.50  might see if grandparents fancy "contributing" :D

    Well its Wednesday.....day before payday.....

So far, I've sorted out a few bits to ebay and photographed them. I also got my wedding dress out of the loft with the intention of selling it, but I'm not sure if I can! I know I should because, realistically, I'm never going to wear it again and if I don't it'll just rot away in the loft so common sense is telling me that the sensible thing to do is sell it and let someone else have the pleasure of wearing it.....will think some more about that.

I've decided to rename the bedroom fund in my signature to "daydream fund", just seems more appropriate somehow :)

Right, off for coffee and to try and find some pennies to PAD!

oooh that's not an easy decision to make, if you did sell it would you regret it in a few months/years time?

Just sorted out my car insurance and got £50 cashback!! Thats going straight to the daydream fund! Was hoping not to have to need to put my car back on the road, but DH really needs his car back for his new job so we're back to a two car family. Need to rejig my SOA now though and also really need to sell my car and get a cheaper one because between the two cars we're now spending nearly £100 a month (£52 on his, £45 on mine) on car insurance, not to mention the £400 a year car tax

On the plus side, DH has just informed me that its payday today, not tomorrow, so thats cheered me up a bit!

Off to take doggles for a walk and a gawp at my house while there is a break in the rain - wind doesn't sound to friendly though, will have to walk faster :D

Ok, have just opened a new savings account with a decent-ish interest rate 1.85% with a 0.75% bonus (or something) mainly because my online banking told me too but also because I'd quite like to earn some interest on the daydream fund!

And now I really am going out with the dog :rotfl:

Brrrrr its cold out there!!! Even doggles didn't enjoy that walk!

Ok, have started listing on ebay, have 5 things to do and have put the wedding dress back in the wardrobe :o not ready to part with that yet.

Looking at some of the stuff I have, I'm thinking less ebay and more car boot sale. Although any car boot sale will have to wait until the weather gets better, there is no way I'm standing around for hours on end in the cold and rain! Think of my hair! :rotfl:

Speaking of hair, must go and do somthing to sort it out - currently looking slightly electrocuted because I ran out of conditioner and I refuse to buy it unless its on offer! :p

It's better than nowt, one of mine was 0.1%:rotfl: the snowball calculator thingy tells you how much you earn if you're putting £x p month into it.

I would have kept it too :)
Car boot is a good idea (if it's a sunny day;))
