I saw someone listing an envelope with 2 free tickets too earlier, not sure if that one is still on there though.

What about alternative listing sites, ie Gumtree?

It looks like they have also been removed, i've decided to list mine a Ebid instead of Ebay, looking at it quite a few people have done the same, i guess it's Ebay's loss !! :rotfl:

I was talking in general terms for second hand item sales, I'm fed up with Ebay in general, not that it's anything to do with you. Get a kick out of being so moralistic??

You must see how odd it looks to moan that ebay won't allow people to break the rules (ie to sell non transferable tickets) and then suggest moving to ebid where the implication appears to be you can break whatever rules you like.

It hardly puts ebid in a good light does it? 'Go to ebid where they don't care about rules'. If I was ebid I would be quite unhappy with that as a proposition.

Where did I moan that ebay won't allow people to break the rules?

I said I was getting fed up of Ebay which I am - (ie the enforced free postage categories, the soon to be introduced free listing limits which I had just been reading about before I posted, and the way they are discouraging small time second hand sellers) - you interpreted my comments wrongly and put your own slant on a comment - something I didn't even say, bit wrong for a board guide don't you think? Why don't you go back and see what I did say. Where did I say anything wrong or illegal or that I intended to go against the rules?

The thread is about listings being removed and users being unhappy about the fact that ebay are doing this. We have no way of knowing what other threads you happened to be reading when you posted and cna only assume your comment related to the thread on which it was placed.

Going back to the Alton Towers tickets, I got mine last week, they are for Tues 22nd June - luckily I am able to book a day off work to go - can't wait!

If you have tickets you don't want why not give them to someone that really wants them(friend, family member etc) instead of selling something you got for free? That's obviously why the tickets are non-transferable, because they are not meant for a quick profit. I agree with ebay removing them - seems fair enough to me.
