Hi i have been bidding on some tickets for Alton towers (sun promotion),but the listing was removed but there are still thousands listed will they all be removed. Anyone have an explanation why.I did receive some tickets myself and have tried to exchange them for a date i wanted but to no avail,so have bought some from ebay and was going to list my own just to try and cover my purchase costs. any ideas?

They are more than likely technically non transferable so are against T&Cs. They normally will only get removed when they are reported which is why some manage to stay
  • i have just had mine removed as well, they took them off with 3 minutes to go.I wont use ebay again

They're not for transfer or resale. It says so quite clearly in the T&C's. No point losing your teddy with ebay.

  • You are best off not showing a photo of the tickets then ebay won't know they are from the Sun offer.

Don't take a photo of the tickets.

doesn't work, i've just tried listing mine with no picture & no mention of the Sun Newspaper but it got removed. I've just noticed one seller thats selling "PARK MAP + 2 X FREE ALTON TOWERS TICKETS" for £28 could be a way round it as he/she is not selling the tickets ?, i'm gonna wait and see if it gets removed before listing mine.

I saw someone listing an envelope with 2 free tickets too earlier, not sure if that one is still on there though.

What about alternative listing sites, ie Gumtree?
