Utility room is now spotless (except the floor, which needs scrubbing once I've done the rest of the house and don't need to go in and out any more.

Some poor bloke has been sent by his wife to collect the paving stones, so is going to get a good workout carting 20 or so of them down the drive to his car one at a time...

Hope your mum and Toots are behaving themselves Miss A :D

1 cat who now tolerates me having shared a packet of cheese and onion crisps with her.
Bought some beautiful crystals yesterday, no idea what they are but they are lush.

Hope you’re all having a nice bank holiday, the sun has actually been shining here! We've done some chores & plenty of relaxing. We've just bought tickets to see The Wonderstuff later this month..! I'll be able to reminisce about my student days!

Well at last I’ve got a list to post & some stars to claim for the first time in weeks if not months, tho I have to say OH has helped quite a lot & the novelty of the bathroom helped too!

Right, I washed the mud off the car, then it chucked it down with rain, big style, so came in and fell asleep on the sofa for 2 hours! :eek::D

Helen... if you fancy a trip down the A34, I still have some slabs left, as the person who came only took 12. There are 9 whole ones and about a dozen half ones left...

I also have some large flints if anyone wants them for edging flower beds or making a rockery... and a skip full of rubble, seeing as the skip company didn't bother to collect in on Wednesday...

His mother is also interested as she has favourite phrases. One is 'lunch will be provided' and another is 'staff discount'

If your local one is in Staveley, my DB and SIL both work there (47 years combined service in the same store between them I think) so if you wanted a word putting in, I'm sure he'll oblige. He started there at 16 stacking shelves before they opened and has trained many, many students who mostly seem to love him. Still not sure whether to forgive him for giving his spare discount card to my Mum though .

My house would like to thank all the lovely ladies on the flylady thread as it is now spanky shiny! My OH thinks I am sickening for something and the children think I've gone round the bend, but the house is beautiful! I may not be on for the weekend, but I shall be back with renewed vigour next week.

It's also been so touching to see everyone rally round Sandy and all those other flyladys who have needed help and support. You all seem such lovely caring people.

Off to eat loads of curry x
