Wit, intelligence and good looks, I've seen the facebook pics! What about BB??

Facebook pics? Hmm -didn't know there were any on there.

And BB is classed as one of my kids :p

OK I guess my second Pollyanna will be that I actually had some work to do when I got to the office this morning. It was lovely finding ways of fending off all the offers of help and I was, actually, gainfully employed for the whole of my few hours there today. Almost thought I might have to do a smidgeon of overtime at one point but, alas, I was too efficient.

    Sorry.

I'm actually going through a bit of a BD/Mid life Crisis at the moment.

And no, I do NOT wish to talk about it.

I just beg the forgiveness of you all if I'm silent/grumpy/whatever

    xx

[STRIKE]I want to see at least 2 things that are fabulous in our life right now!! There has been a lot of unhappiness so now we can all be Pollyannas and be glad about something!![/STRIKE]

On the happier side I've ordered some roses to remember my dad by. 2 for me and 2 for mum who has a celebratory wedding anniversary this year.

I'm pleased I've done this and not put it off for the never to be done pile of things as I would have done last year. Plus I managed it without feeling upset/angry which I would have done a year ago.

Me and mum are going to find some nice pots to put them into in a week or so.

Mental targets are being met and all is going well at the moment which is a nice turn around from how I have felt before.

Ahh how good to feel this way

    Exercise list w/c 29/3

    [STRIKE]Mon - 20/30 mins yoga[/STRIKE] 40 mins done :D
Tues - CV - Oh no! 20mins yoga only today :o
    Wed - 45 mins yoga
    Thurs - CV
    Fri - 1 hour yoga / CV
    Sat - 1 hour yoga / CV
Sun - walk? or as above

Hmm not much flying today a bit tired, was a 160mile round trip for training all day today, really will make a start tomorrow!

I was doing quite well with last weeks rota but missed Friday as my Dad took a turn for the worse, he died on Saturday. I've been cleaning today to take my mind off everything and my kitchen is now sparkling. It's actually good therapy.

So sorry for your loss Sue.

And also for Mr Tunnock without whom there would be no caramel logs, tea cakes or caramel waffers.

OH, 3 gorgeous children, safe home, good food, good friends...

but can't say it makes me feel any better, just more guilty/ungrateful for feeling so low/being so useless...:o

when my DD was a baby (and just on milk) I used to sniff her lots and lots because I knew, if all went to plan, she would be my last. She moved into a bed when we came here (in the October before she was 2 in the January) and told me, at just over 2 years, that she wouldn't be wearing nappies at night anymore...she was the tiniest tot!

    Evening all,

    I'm glad Sandy is ok.

I've just about done my dailies today, i must try harder tomorrow. I have been out for lunch with my Sisters and Ds's. Ds2 has had the devil in him today, he hasn't done a thing he's been told and is so grumpy. He's usually pretty good so i'm wondering if he's coming down with this cold.

Soappie - big hugs and pokes with a stick for you. Not like you sweetie, you need that sunshine back PDQ!

Cricket done, that was the last one for the year (indoor nets)
Rang Mother - she was being deliberately difficult

I need to wrap DS2's present and blow some balloons up. Hoping his laptop does arrive tomorrow as per the courier instructions.

Take care in the red zone.

My Pollyanna Moment (and thank you so much Pigpen for making me type this)

    I am soooo glad for:

    - my sinus unblocking meds, which is helping me breathe through my nose (I love it)
    - my lovely family who keep asking me if I need more tissue to mop up the stream now its decided to unblock!
    - Easter weekend, as I have so much I want to do!
    - Snow, a camping stove and lovely neighbours, because as above, if the power keeps flickering, at least we can feed ourselves and our local friends (I've got 9 camping stove cannisters, that should do the estate!!). The snow is covering the beach - wow!
    - Work, because when it's good it's over the rainbow. When it's bad - it's worse than imaginable - today it's good.
    - MSE for the massive support I get from everyone, even when I've done sneaky ebay buys and have to confess them, or haven't flown in a week, I know you guys are here to cajole (or wallop) me back into shape.
    - I have the ability to listen, but wish I had the patience to display it more!

Sending good vibes to all other Pollyanna's and the joy of being glad xxx

LOL... I've just had to leave OH to it.. so I could come do tomorrows list.. and make a cuppa obviously.. but I have just about killed myself getting this room done before DS3 and his Aspergers hysteria come back!!

I promise to have the weekend off and rest (we are going to OH's mums so I'll have no choice) but next week I promised DD1 she could have her room done.. she is doing it and OH is helping but I'll do the carpet and I need to dye the curtains... and I want to saw a bit off the legs of her high sleeper to make it a low sleeper..
