    ****** UPDATE ON SANDY *****

"Good news this time. She is awake, off the vent and moving all her limbs. She is still very groggy and in pain but I am so relieved"

I'll keep passing on your messages as I'm sure her family appreciate them.

Oh dear, i appear to be in a very red area:eek: my dad said there were to be severe weather warnings issued but i didnt realise how wide spread they were. It is WILD here though, lights are a bit flickery so i may hunt out my candles just to be on the safe side!

Hope all of you 'in the red' stay safe warm and dry

I am glad for my kids and my home (and proud of the fact that I managed to keep us here and am solvent)

Thanks for the Sandy updates, Hope Toots and Lady Liberty are also ok...

    Hmmm Pollyanna.....

    kids and home given....

    In true Pollyanna form

Well, if I was in all that snow forecast for Scotland tonight, I'd be glad to make a snowman and take beef broth (or hearty chicken soup!) cooked on my camping stove to my neighbours to help them out.

    Number 2 - erm.... erm ..... erm....

    Hi all :)
I am here but have been busy and tired all at the same time so many apologies x
Have been getting on with my home baking though :) Have made welsh cakes twice in the last week and they come out lovely :) Last night I made cup cakes for hubby's birthday - they were lush :) and I made homemade plaited honey bread which was a huge success with hubby and boys - yay me :D
Have got to try and get on with all this housework now - Easter hols and I'm busier than when I'm in work!!
Have a lovely one everyone :)
