For all of you oop north, particularly those of you in Toots land, I'm wishing you a safe and warm evening.
Not often you get red on the Met Office site.
The warning is:
Severe Blizzards, Severe Drifting Snow & Very Heavy Snowfall
:eek::eek:
Stay safe, please
Oh dear, i appear to be in a very red area:eek: my dad said there were to be severe weather warnings issued but i didnt realise how wide spread they were. It is WILD here though, lights are a bit flickery so i may hunt out my candles just to be on the safe side!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hope all of you 'in the red' stay safe warm and dry
I am glad for my kids and my home (and proud of the fact that I managed to keep us here and am solvent)
Thanks for the Sandy updates, Hope Toots and Lady Liberty are also ok...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

kids and home given....
In true Pollyanna form
Well, if I was in all that snow forecast for Scotland tonight, I'd be glad to make a snowman and take beef broth (or hearty chicken soup!) cooked on my camping stove to my neighbours to help them out.
Number 2 - erm.... erm ..... erm....
