DS1 and I are working on the play room. He wants to get rid of the baby toys so that it doesnt get into such a mess! Growing up fast, he is 7 on Friday :eek:.

Hoping Sandy is having a better time of it today; many thanks Greenbee for the regular updates.

Hoping also that everyone else is having as good a *checks calendar* Tuesday as they can.

Done Flying early today, as we're off into town to collect my meds when Mr LW finishes his w*rk at 15:30.

Tuesday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
Level One
Declutter and vacuum the floors! Done (Mr LW)
Clean out the fire place.. vacuum dust and fluff and soot.. if you burn wood your chimneys may need sweeping! Done – easy, as it's only a gas fire.
Level Two
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move! Done (Mr LW; I don't do moving furniture!)
Dust and deweb.. make sure you do light fittings and bulbs! do picture rails and coving too if you possess it! Done; Mr LW clambered up on the step stool to give the light fitments a really thorough going over.:A
Clean the sofas.. vacuum under/between/backs cushions.. turn them over for even wear if possible.Done.
Level Three
Wipe over all the fluffy electricals.. don't electrocute yourself please!!Done by Mr LW during his lunch break (he's wfh today):A
Wipe and water the plants N/A
Wipe grubby paintwork Done

Extras

1. Finish/do a small DIY job None outstanding as such; but Mr LW had a major tidy-up of the cables under his computer desk while he was down there. Will that do?
2. Wash any soft furnishings that are ickified Checked – all fine.
3. Clean out a cupboard.. any cupboard Done – storage area in my computer desk has had a major turf-out.:eek:
4. Wash those misty windows! Done

Compulsory Extra..

I want to see at least 2 things that are fabulous in our life right now!! There has been a lot of unhappiness so now we can all be Pollyannas and be glad about something!!

1. Looking forward to Sunday, when my two canine guests arrive for nine days. A miniature poodle, and a coton de tulear (yes, I had to Google it as well; apparently they're basically animated cotton wool balls, and extremely cute!):j
2. Mr LW not only helps with Flying, he actually volunteers to help with Flying!:A
3. I've lost over half a stone since starting daily WiiFit+ on 14th January.:p
4. Mr LW enjoys my cooking!;)
5. We're debt-free and mortgage-free.:T

Decluttered films off my laptop and onto the pc downstairs.. FLING!

Last coat of pale blue done... just waiting for OH to get back from ice skating with DD's 2, 3 and 4.. he is taking the boys and Tiddles next Tuesday we think!!

I'll go poke some paint and maybe think about slopping about some of the blue metallic stuff if it is dry enough!

Level One
Sweep and mop floor
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Wipe units and appliances..
[STRIKE]Empty and wash out bins[/STRIKE]
Clean out fridge
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe table.. clean cloth![/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Scrub manky marks off walls and tiles.. scrub that greasy grout!
Clear window sills of gibble and wipe them before replacing back the necessary stuff and finding new homes for the unnecessary stuff!
Clear out the under sink cupboard.. fling what you don't need/use. Replace dishclothes etc if needed.[/STRIKE]

I think Pigpen must be psychic - she knew that 3 things had been annoying me recently - the undersink cupboard, the fireplace and the sitting room lightshades - all now done (with thanks to a 5'10" ds1 who did the bits on the stepladder)

1. I love my house even though it's old and a bit big and has a lot of dodgy plaster work - we've been doing it up for 12 years now - couldn't have afforded it otherwise
2. DS2 did well in his 11+/ transfer test and hopefully should be following ds1 to the same grammar school

Hugs to those struggling with black dogs at the moment - dh's is being rather noisy at the moment - not helped by the fact that he's ill with a virus

I've hoovered and mopped all of downstairs, changed the cats beds, cleaned the toilets and sinks, been to town/bank.

Just having a cuppa and then 15 minutes of sorting out the stuff from DS3's room.

I want to dust the living room and family room today too and then I have the cricket run later.

Must ring mother too as it is DS2's birthday tomorrow.

I read in the torygrasp at the weekend (so it must be true) that every home of good taste has some pale blue in it!
