I'll check the duvet in the morning... and you need to tell neveah that she doesn't need the books cluttering up the house, so once you've dropped them in the bath you'll pass them on (via me and hex ;)) to the charity shop...

My bath has epsom salts & lavender in it, so we should all be getting a very good night's sleep!

They usually go onto bookhopper after me so we can get more books. Now they're coming in faster than i can read them.

Ds1 has just made me a coffee so i'm going to run my bath while i drink it seeing as Ds2 has finally gone to sleep.

All this talk of lovely relaxing baths makes me want one but our central heating is PANTS so it takes a good 15 mins to run one :(. Enjoy our soaks everyone - I'll have a shower in the morning.

I didn't see Dr Who; wouldn't be the same without Mr Yummy, sorry Mr David Tennant ;). The new one might grow on me, but he'll need to do a lot of work .... not that I'm picky at all you understand.

Had a better day today; great time at Messy Church. DD told our minister she became a friend of Jesus (Christian) last night, he said a lovely prayer for her and asked if she'd mind telling people later on. She didn't mind at all, so we did crafts and at the end everyone sat down and he said about DD - she went up to the front and said she was a Christian. I was so proud I could burst :j:j:j! This afternoon after lunch I went out to get some more chook bedding with the kids and they watched a DVD whilst I put on my waterproofs and cleaned out the chickens. Looks so much better now.

Then off to MaccyDs for tea (I know, very naughty), back here, bit of TV then bed time for kids and I've been sat here typing as I need all the money I can get right now. Off to bed shortly.

Toots, have a wonderful day tomorrow my love xx

Greenbee, I must be a real slob as never iron my bedding - too much faffing for me, but I have to say it does like nice when it's done. Of course Mrs Perfect (MIL) always does it - 'nuff said  Any news from Sandy?

Polkadot, how lovely to have an afternoon sleep, I think everyone should have one but unfortunately my children don't agree - often I'll try to get them to lie down but I end up falling asleep and they sneak off somewhere and cause mayhem!

MissH, wow, your daughter must be really talented and you must be one proud Mum!

Piggers, glad you got your clothes sorted now and let's hope you have a better nights sleep. When do you get back?

Aaaaw you must have been so proud and happy for her too - we are still trying to persuade ds that the vicar and Jesus are not actually one and the same!

Awww, just think of the pictures the kids will draw at school...

'Tell me about your picture, Master T.'

'Well, that's my giant bike that I have to wear stilts to get on. There's mummy taking back the horrid coat to the shop so I can get one I like. Her tongue's poking out a bit because she's biting it.

That's Daddy. He's making it rain because he's doing some work in the garden.

And the giant purple whirlwind thing with a little purple blob and carrying loads of shopping bags? Oh, that's Nana and my little sister'

    love it!:rotfl:
Tell MIL your second rated present each time. As long as she thinks she's got in first (which may not be 'being a parent', but just wanting to be special to the children/compensating for them not having two Nannies to spoil them), she won't be hurt and you'll be able to get them the big presents sometimes!

(I do understand. Ex KH1's mother was an fffffin nightmare. She completely took over, so much so I felt that she had stolen DD1. She bought all the clothes, thus freeing up KH1 to spend it on computers and junk food, took her out constantly instead of for a couple of hours, nearer 17 at a time, started sneaking her normal cows' milk at 4 months because she decided the BF wasn't giving her enough goodness and generally did my head in!)
