Still hoping for a killer offer, January is not quite over yet...
Yeh, I waited till last week, with nothing new, apart from IF card I thought I better get my skates on and applied for 4 cards. Now still contemplating an app for First Direct.0

Just got my £15k TSB Advance card approved, 0% for 12m, didn't close my TSB platinum card after 0% offer ended, they sent me a c/c cheque to use, repeating 0% offer for six months, that is another £13k at0% for six months.
Sometimes not closing cards after promotional offer is good!0

If they were closing the offer, I wonder if that's why we didn't get accepted. We didn't even get to finish all the screens.....we got as far as employment details but there were still 2 tabs after that. I thought it funny at the time that the process seemed to get cut short. Oh well, need to wait and see.Herman - MP for all! 0 0

I got turned down for this which was a bit of shock as I don't have any debts except about £5K stoozed on EGG & FD Gold. My credit history is good, never had a default or even a missed payment, I always clear my CC balance every month. I have a decent salary and a secure job, our mortgage is paid off, the house is worth over £200K. Not sure what they were looking for here but obviously not me! LOL.
Anyway I don't mind really because today I got a Barclaycard with 0% for a year fee free BTs in 1st 60 days. I only got £5400 CL but it's OK because I just wanted to move that £5k which becomes due anytime. I can keep the £5k in my ING account earning 5% for a year so I should make £200 in rough figures.
I have appealed to Lloyds on principle but if the deals gone I will tell them I don't want it anymore if they change their minds.:p0

            Hi Martin,
This is my first post, I would be DELIGHTED to get a personal reply, you are my hero - yes really !
I was lucky enough to get a Lloyds Advance TSB 0% for 12 months last week to do a BT from MBNA ending offer of 9 months. Did my BT which has gone through and have been considering a further BT before the 6 week limit is up. This is from a Nationwide CC opened for holiday use, 0% which ends in March. ( I'm learning fast Martin !).
Should I still get 0 % for 12 months on the second BT, after all that was my agreement with them ?
I also have a Sainsbury CC 0% 12 months for purchases. I make sure I use each card for its specific purpose.
I saw the light with C Cards when 4 yrs ago I was refused a Store Card in front of a shop full of people, because I had missed a £5 payment on another card, whose balance was £50.
It was the best thing that could have happened to me, and the CC companies have not had a penny in interest since.
I always set up a D Debit immediately a new account is opened and close all accounts once the offer has ended . ( I love that phone call !)
I am proud to be a Tart. Revenge is sweet.
Would just love a reply Martin, husband says I dont stand a chance !

An interesting lesson - seems your husband isn't always right
Yes all the above sounds right - and providing your Lloyds TSB BT is within the 6 weeks and you haven't gone over the credit limit it should be at 0% for 12 months.
 Keep on tarting
