Closing 2009-2010 ISA account

I would like to open a new ISA account for the new tax year (2010-2011) with the same bank.
I have an ISA account for the 2009-2010 tax year (again with the same bank), and haven't used the whole allowance yet.
Is there a need to close the old ISA account, when I open a new one? The reason for closing the old one is that I don't want so many accounts displayed on online banking. I will be transferring the money from the old ISA to the new one.

When you transfer the money from the old ISA to the new one (using the correct transfer forms) then the old ISA will automatically be closed.0

I opened an ISA with the same bank for the new tax year. When does my old one close?
The T&Cs doesn't allow transfers in.0 -
