Thanks Mongoose - I don't think it's going to be worth a repair0

Still digging out old cameras but cannot find user guides yet - anyone know what fEE refers to on the Nikon F601 AF LCD Screen (some sort of error message I know)0

Don't you need to c0ck the shutter by winding on (with or without film)? Not familiar with Olympus SLRs, so just a guess (had to do that with my Contax non-motordrive body).0

Thanks Manathome - will not wind or or fire (displays batter as full power0 - according to other comments on this thread it needs a repair (which is going to be uneconomical)0

F EE means that you are probably in Auto mode and have not set the lens to A0

Thanks again M. I have found the instructions which advise me to set the lens to smallest aperture during flash photography.
Cheers

Can't find my T20 flashgun anywhere - but have found my National PE-387S and it seems to work fine. It would be nice to find the instructions - does anyone know of a link..?
Thanks

You should put a sticker on your OM-10 saying that.T.F.S.B.I.G.W.S. wrote: »My other camera is a Hasselblad 503cx which I believe works fine but the flashgun which I used to use with it - a Metz 45 - seems a bit dead
"My other camera is a Hasselblad".
Like the "My other car is a Porsche" stickers you see on the back of beat up old bangers.

Thanks Av - I like that - except my Olympus has gone to that great camera case in the sky and whatever stickers I stick on it no one will get to see them...0

My OM10 bought the farm when I was taking pictures of rough seas breaking over a sea wall. You can guess what happened. It carried on working for a few weeks then siezed up completely. I still have a working OM40, and if that dies i'll probably buy an OM2, I'm not wasting my lenses.
Yes I do have a digital SLR but I still like using film, it has a unique 'look' to it.Out on blue six..
It's Chips and Jackets, Peas and Trousers.0
