Hi, Long time lurker new member =]
I have just recied a gift of a £5000 cheque, i want to put this into my ISA (with natwest) an e-isa i think it is.
I know there is a £3600 limit, but i heard that it is going up to £5000 or so this new tax year.
is that true?
as i would like to be able to put it in there and have easy access to it as it is to go towards the rent of my first flat.
otherwise as i currently have £500 already in the isa, i would only be able to put in £3100, so what do i do with the other £1900? can i open another isa or?
Thanks in advance
Pearly

Yes it goes up to £5100 as from April 6th.otherwise as i currently have £500 already in the isa, i would only be able to put in £3100, so what do i do with the other £1900?
Put it in on April 6th.can i open another isa or?
No you can't at the moment as you have a current ISA. ON April 6th you can either add the other £1900 to the existing ISA or open another one with a different provider altogether.0
