Tiscali To Talk Talk Problems

Hi all,
I've been with Tiscali for some time and while I knew I wouldn't get my full 8Mb speed because I'm a fair way from the exchange, I have been getting around 2.5Mb.
Until last week, when I became a Talk Talk customer due to the takeover, now my speed is down to 1.5Mb to 2Mb and this morning as low as 512Kb.
Has anyone else experienced problems since the changeover, nothing has changed in my setup!
Regards
Amanda

You should have complained (by email as it is free) before to Tiscali.
I have the same ISP's as you and my speed is 5 - 6Mb, which I feel to be reasonable. I regularly test my speed using the Think Broadband website speed tester.
Suggest emailing TT and ask them to check and adjust the speed, as after all you are paying for 8mb. There are tweaks they can do. Advise back on progress.

Oh I'm not sure, I never think to check but will do now!0

There may be something they can do, but don't let yourself think you are paying for 8mb broadband. You are paying for 'up to' 8mb therefore even with a decrease in speed you are still getting the promised speeds.Mike_Newcomb wrote: »You should have complained (by email as it is free) before to Tiscali.
