Hiya, hope somebody here can help me with where I stand on this subject.
Thank you for shopping with Chemist Direct We're pleased to send you this order confirmation containing details of your order. Your web order number is ******* should you have any further queries, you will need to quote this reference number.
Payment method: Payment was made by Credit/Debit card Order Status: Order Being Processed
Alli 60Mg Capsules 84 Pack with 2 Months Supply of Multi Vitamins FREE 84 Pack £34.94
I ordered some diet pills from Chemist Direct just over a month ago, despite receiving them quite quickly (great) the free 2 month supply of vitamins that was advertised as being included was not in the parcel. I called them, and the operator said she would investigate this and get them sent out. Two weeks later - nothing.
Called again and was told that the last operator had in fact not carried through the investigation (?) and that it would definately be done today and the vitamins would be in the post.
Nothing arrived - sent an email and have been told AGAIN that this would be investigated and the vitamins sent to me asap.
Getting a bit annoyed, I could have purchased these elsewhere for around the same price but was swayed by the free vitamins. I feel Ive been duped, surely I have some rights if they have advertised something that they cannot deliver? If you click on the link they are no longer offering the free vitamins as part of the package??
Can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance

Yes just don't use them again.
Or take them to court for breach of contract.
Apart from that and perhaps sending them a letter there is nothing more to be done.0 -
Thanks. Ive sent them a stinking email last week and they said they are onto it. Yeah right. Was going to mention the old 'Trading Standards' line just to give them a budge?:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0

Oh they work..... a little too well if you read the reviews. Passing wind is a little bit of a problem for some and spare underwear should be carried at all times...

Just one of dozens and dozens of reviews all saying the same thing
Ill stick with a healthy diet, exercise and the ability to fart in public without worrying I'm about to follow through...:o0 -

Some years ago a fat substitute called Olestra was discovered/developed. It had the unfortunate side-effect of something called 'anal leakage', aka 'steatorrhea'.
