    yeah but i thought your needs were laptop, and online 50 is £7 per month monthly rolling contract sim only deal with 50 x net mins

    3g on t-mobile is available for use with a data card and laptop, or video calling but not for internet browsing through a mobile at the moment - even compatible handsets still use gprs to surf the net.

    I am afraid you are wrong. Whatever packet switched data you use you will use the available bearer - 3G iof you are in a 3G area with a 3G handset otherwise GPRS AKA 2.5G.
