Just a quick question I hope someone knows, does the nokia 6300 time automatically update.

I.e. do I need to move the hour on or will it automatically do it, just need to know so I know what time to set the alarm for in the morning as Im on an early, and its my only alarm clock!

Thanks

Depends on the specific settings and your network. If you set the preference to Auto Update in settings, then it will (if network provides updates) otherwise its manual tweak. 2 second job.

Its voda and auto update is on, i know how to manually do it I just didnt want it to do it again, although thinking about it It wouldnt because the time would be correct DERRRR!, or I could manually do it and switch off auto update, or just put my brain into gear !!!

Mine has never updated despite being set to Auto Updates (it's on Orange).

Why not advance it one hour before you go to bed?

When I was with Orange a few years ago, I asked them about auto-update and they said their network did not provide it.

I am back again with Orange now, so will have to see what happens!

I was worried that it would also then automatically add another hour on to it.

Why would it do that? What I am not sure about is if you have to wait to receive a call (like you have to do on a landline). So advancing by one hour seems the most sensible option!

You can always turn auto-update off in most phones anyway!
