Help required with television

I have a digital set top aerial (well 2 actually - one in the kitchen and one in the bedrrom). I do know that it's the best picture i've ever had from an indoor aerial when used for an anologue picture. I bought a freeview box to try it out with, but we're not getting switched on to freeview until September.
These are the ones I have. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=115127&C=Froogle&U=115127&T=Module Read the reviews.

Yep - microwaves also work in the same band as you've found and can interfere - I gave up using a TV sender a long while back because of the problems with WiFi and had forgotten that.
My husband threw my video sender out because he said it kept knocking him offline when he was on his laptop.

Video senders and WiFi simply don't mix. Whatever channels the router and video sender are on the WiFi will suffer some degradation (although it should be possible to avoid a complete failure) and the TV will get some interference. The only solution is to not use both at the same time or buy a 5GHz model (of either)0

You could grab a free telly from your local freecycle site, but you will still need to invest in a small digital aerial, possibly with a booster to ensure a good reception.
£39 will get you a nice little freeview recorder, ideal for a bedroom (still you will need a digital aerial for the freeview no more than a tenner)

I bought a cheaper digital aerial (http://www.amazon.co.uk/digiTop-Amplified-Performance-Freeview-Wideband/dp/B001ACV7E0) and it's okayish, but not nearly as good a reception as the one I linked to.0 -
The aerial I got looks like a satellite dish with to extend-able prongs sticking up, the booster is built in to it, excellent reception I have to say.
