Access to Cine Moi without Sky?

I wish to subscribe to the Cine Moi French movie channel. The easiest way to do this is through a Sky subscription. However, Cine Moi's website indicates that it is possible to receive the channel without the Sky subscription provided you have Sky equipment.
Initially I decided to subscribe to Sky. The engineer was due to install today but after carrying out a 'site survey' noted that the existing dish was on the roof iand that that would require a specialist roofing team to revisit the property. The specialist team only work Tues to Thurs in my area. I am unable to get time off from work on a Tues to Fri to wait around for an engineer who may or may not show up at the designated time.
So, I am back to looking at other ways of getting Cine Moi without the Sky subscription. I have a sky dish. I also have a sky box from my previous Sky subscription in my former home. Does anyone know if there is any way to set up this equipment to access this specific channel? To be clear I DO NOT WISH TO DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL. Just want to understand exactly what I would need and how I would go about setting up the equipment to access this channel through subscription.
Thanks in advance.:)

Easy. You can subscribe online if you have a viewing card. https://nwd.appletree.co.uk/cinemoi/new_sub.php?ref= If not, phone 0845 880 8008. Cine Moi will then supply and activate the viewing card, which will also give you your regional BBC1, ITV1 and the free-to-view channels. No $ky in the equation at all.
The equipment you have should be sufficient.RIP independent MSE.

many thanks will-in-estoril. i did call them before posting but found their answers a little vague (but that may be because I am not at all techie). i'll investigate with them further.0

So I now have the SKY equipment set up and have access to the free to air channels. I have also got a viewing card through Cine Moi and paid the subscription. Cine Moi have stated that they have activiated the card, but I still don't have access to Cine Moi nor, incidentally, the free-to-view but encrypted channels (e.g. channel 5). Have got an outstanding call to the techie department of Cine Moi but thought one of the knowledgeablel people on here might be able to help?:think:0

What Cinemoi needs to do is make sure that they enter the card details into the $ky database, which they will have access to before sending out the activation signal. This will regionalise the card and give you the free to view channels. If they then send out the signal all should be ok.RIP independent MSE.

Thanks Will. I will check that they have done this (the person I was speaking to last night seemed like more of a sales lady than a techie so hopefully they will be a bit more with it today).
